Set Automatic Shutdown On Your PC (Windows 7)

Set Automatic Shutdown on Your PC (Windows 7) :

It happened to me that I running some important process on my PC Windows 7 system which on the end need to be finished with manually shutdown but I needed to go urgently outside of my house! What to do now? To cancel current process (which already take so long) and to start again day after I come back or is there any other solution which make that computer Shutdown automatically by himself?  Fortunately there is one very easy way to make your PC to Shutdown in time which you set, even to continue with Shutdown on continual times for future days that you manage in the options. Just follow those simple steps and look at the pictures that I made and you going to learn a new useful trick :

Step 1 : Go to menu Start Menu button then click on Control Panel. From window which will appear chose System and Security and then do left click on Administrative Tools (at the bottom of window).

Step 4 :  On the "Task Trigger" screen, choose the frequency with which you want the Shutdown PC to run. You can set what you prefer the most (daily, weekly, monthly...) but for simple test I will chose and check "One Time"option and then click on "Next" button.

Step 5 : On the "Daily" screen, enter the date and time that you want for your PC to shutdown and click on button "Next". On the "Action" screen, choose "Start a program" and then again click "Next."

Step 6 : At "Start a Program" screen in text field of Program/script type next rote :  "C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe" or simply click on button "Browse..." and then find manually shutdown.exe file at System32 folder. In the Add arguments text field type /s and after click on button "Next".

Step 7 : Confirm your settings on the Summary screen and click on button "Finish". Wait till time that you set for your computer Shutdown and see what will happen. If computer still do not turn off automatically that mean that you do not set Task property so try to do all this steps again.

IMPORTANT : After creation of New Task you can always go in Task Scheduler Library on the right side of your screen where you can find, change or delete any Task that you already made.
